PIMUS Palm Kernel Cake is a coarse, brownish meal obtained after extracting oil from palm kernel seeds, which come from the nut inside the oil palm fruit. What you’re left with is a dense, fibrous byproduct that is packed with residual nutrients, especially protein and fiber. It has a slightly nutty aroma and a dry, crumb-like texture, making it more suitable for feed and industrial use rather than direct human consumption. In many parts of Africa, palm kernel cake is widely used as an ingredient in livestock feed for cattle, goats, sheep, and poultry because it provides a cost-effective energy and protein source. It can also be processed further into pellets or mixed with other feed components to improve its nutritional balance and palatability.
